The Museum of City History
From The Maimed Project

A Shusai funded museum with many exhibits on The City's history. In other words, propaganda, propaganda, propaganda. When it comes to the more negative aspects of The City, the museum either puts a more positive spin on it or leaves it out altogether. Field trips to the museum are required twice a year for all levels of schooling. They've recently opened up an exhibit on the old lifestyles of the United States, only available for those 16 and up--it's too extreme for anyone younger.
Pre-Shusai History
Whitewashed, whitewashed, whitewashed. Oh, the government may have had a good track record with casually erasing all evidence some of history's most noted figures may have not been on the caucasian scale; but far be it to erase the teachings of the past! No, they've simply gone and scrubbed it clean, and the Museum and its exhibits on life before the bomb is yet another reinforcement to the public of this fact. Martin Luther King, jr talking about equality? An oppressed caucasian protestant. Brought down by those naughty communists of old. In fact, the evils of socialism are a running theme with the exhibit (and, indeed, Shusai take on history); wherever it's clear it was the whites that were doing the downtredding, the kicking, and the oppressing? Oh no, you see, boys and girls, they were communist caucasians. Probably Russian. Ghandi is George, the American sent to India to free the slaves from the Brits. Stalin was unusually tanned. A positive spin is often put on Hitler. Oh and Oprah? Yeah, she was loud, black, and built her empire out of giving schools milk weened from rats. Sorry.
For those quiet doubters of this history provided in schools and other indoctrination facilities, you're going to have to know a guy who knows a guy to get a banned book containing the true version of the accounts told -- or be pretty darn resourceful when it comes to hacking away at a near century's old file on the net. This isn't to say it's impossible to get at what really went on all those decades ago; but the government hasn't made it easy, and with such upstanding models of Pre-Shusai History represented by the Museum, why would most doubt, anyhow?
Shusai History
"And then came the founders of the Government, the Shusai corporation, savin us from civil war and life lost! For nearly a century they've protected us all against further violence and have made sure that we can live happy and safe!" The elementary school version of this re-telling even has puppets if you come on the right days. But whether aimed at the tots, or just general reading for those interested, the jargon may differ in sophistication; but the message is always the same. The Shusai corporation saved the United States and the City, and it's only with YOUR help, noble citizen, that it can help continue the fight for a better community.
