From The Maimed Project
The City is the last civilization in North America. Divided into a large number of
Boroughs, this metropolis spans much of the eastern seaboard. Each borough is like a miniature town, although in more populous areas boroughs may be unique specializations, such as an entertainment, residential, or business districts.
The majority of MAIMED takes place in what historians believe used to be New York City prior to the Bomb, though evidence to back up this theory is scarce at best. The mild summers and harsh winters, complete with several feet of snow each year, seem to support this claim.
