Rhythm Revolution
From The Maimed Project
Founded in 2031, the Rhythm Revolution is an underground movement that opposes Shusai Corporation and all that it stands for. It receives its name from its somewhat peculiar codename system; all rebels within the revolution are known solely by music-based codenames.
Public Opinion
If one was to believe everything Shusai showed them on the television, the Revolution is nothing more than a counter-culture movement. A bunch of teenagers living out their "stick to the man" fantasies, they are the root of all of society's problems, from alcoholism to economic recession. Of course, there is some truth in every stereotype: the Revolution is a counter-culture, where all the deviants Shusai has long since condemned revel in their indiviuality. They do live in the slums, and most of them live well below the poverty line. However, their capabilities are severely under-reported by the media.
Political Agenda
Political agendas within the Revolution varies from rebel to rebel. The most popular issues include Welfare, Human Rights, Freedom of Expression, Gay Rights, Women's Rights, Police Brutality, The Housing Crisis, Class Distinction and Discrimination, and The Environment.
However, the most pressing problem facing the Revolution is undoubtably The Projects. Anyone in the Revolution is quickly informed of their existence and the importance of obtaining the Projects as soon as possible. Most rebels are shocked to discover that Shusai was actually capable of making children into weapons, while some are disgusted with their very existence, viewing the children as weapons, not living things. In any case, the acquirement and safe detainment of all Projects is the top priority of the Revolution at the moment.
