Pipes, alias Lex Boot, codename Ska, was born Griffin Jameson in the small city of Haysville, Kansas. He and his older brother, Michael, escaped from an almost certain death at the hands of Shusai and made their way to The City. They live in the slums, mugging and stealing for survival, vandalizing Shusai property whenever they can. In fact, the Boot brothers are responsible for inventing Sewer Surfing.
